Rotary Claw Vacuum Pumps and Blowers
The range of Elmo Rietschle’s rotary claw vacuum pumps, blowers and compressors available through Mid-Tech, are dry contact free in operation. Much like the lobe and screw machines, they only have grease on the bearings and gear oil to lubricate the gears due to the development of special seals to prevent oil being necessary. None of the oil or grease is found in the vacuum or compression chambers.
Wear-free operation found in this technology reduces down time and provides consistent pumping performance in comparison to older dry running vane technologies. The technologies development over time also has improved flow rates at deeper vacuum on smaller motor when compared to the traditional dry vane units.
With further development now allowing for deeper consistent vacuum, the claw pumps can operate across varying applications replacing pumps that require a lot more on-site maintenance, this therefore assists in reducing the lifetime costs of the unit.
